In response to Monica G: @MonicaG44:
Fundamentally, life has not changed much for many of us since the Civil Rights Era. Some are more aware. It’s a protracted struggle. I have been aware and active for over 40 years. We need to learn the lessons of history. Love one another. Be kind.
Surely we are not all equal and cannot be under corporate fascism. We are in class war with cultural dimensions. I remember the cusp of the late 60s and early 70s. Group, rap therapy sessions until dawn with comrades. Smokin’ pot.
Back then revolution was in the very air we breathed. We were young confident and cocky in a real pulsating movement. We sharpened our cognitive, logical and reasoning skills without fear amongst each other. We criticized and self-criticized. We had to be able to explain our ideas and ideals to others, including our own worried parents who were sure we were hell-bound.
We thought others saw what we saw and an actual revolution seemed imminent. The System was scared. Remember the Civil Rights struggle was going on ~ we had a popular Anti-War Movement around Vietnam ~ great social unrest. The very stars were in our favor, even the winds, the crickets and the humming birds. The time was ripe for revolution.
Fascism was hip to our vague inclusive strategy. The Panthers were the Vanguard Party. Che inspired many of us. Amerikan Fascism attacked our Vanguard Elements ~ our various growing movements were defused ~we made critical strategic mistakes.
Amerikan Fascism arose out of the last Great Depression and many of us are decades behind. Fascism is here now. Daring us! Many have fallen like fools for fascist psychological operations and lack cognitive critical thinking skills. Now we face near term #extinction as an endangered species.
There are great imbalances nature will not forever allow. Many are lost in ideologies and assorted -isms. Argue over petty bullshit. Have to get the last word. Have to always be right. Meanwhile the Internet has become the new Tower of Babel ~ Evil Powers rule supreme and thousands starve to death daily. We allow Mother Earth to be raped and plundered believing wrongly that we are powerless to do anything about it.
We have as much claim to a civil civilization as a pack of rabid hyenas ~ we may very well be a doomed species. I will do all I can within my powers to wreck this world and help clear up the mass clouds of confusion and chaos.
As a self-identified Chicano Alien I have not adjusted well and integrated into this sick depraved society. Sanity is my security.
