▶ We Begin As Humane Beings: via
Update: Monday, July 20, 2015
By nature we are first and foremost humane beings, but being born into and raised in an inhumane world warps and distorts us. We may have a gnawing vague sense that ‘something is wrong’ growing up, but it takes life experience to put a finger on it. We may not even know our original nature.
Our early childhood experiences form and shape the development of our character. We are born innocent and ignorant endowed with equal rights, but changes happen the moment we leave the starting gate and hit the road.
We can be wired for empathy from a biological perspective. For example, no one is born a racist, but when we are raised in a racist society being a racist can be considered ‘normal’. Our cultural environment and social conditions shape and mold our attitudes and opinions about the world we live in on a day-to-day basis.
We identify ourselves as being of a given sex, race, nation, tribe or ethnic group, yet as a species we remain one people of Mother Earth. We have common survival needs, such as, food, clothing, shelter, medical care and basic education. We should overcome our surface differences and unite together based upon our common needs as one family of humanity. However, what ‘should be’ and what ‘is’ are often divergent and in contradiction to each other.
Despite our best intentions, good hearts and best minds, Internet communications remain a Tower of Babel. It is finding a balance between individual personal interests and our common collective survival interests as an endangered species. Part of the purpose of what we know as psychoanalysis is to make the realm of the subconscious conscious to the mind and felt by the spirit.
As a species we have failed to overcome our divisions and differences and can could conceivably be a species doomed to extinction. We tend to forget that we belong to what is known as Mother Earth ~ the Earth does not belong to us. From space we see no borders.
We are divided by sex, race, nation, class, tribes, colors, religion and other forms of divisions in a patriarchal society. Why do we use the term mankind instead of humankind? Why do we have HIStory and omit HERstory? Our whole terminology is sexist.
We are so screwed up that many of us cannot decide what sex we want to be. We attempt to rationalize our original nature away. Many are so insecure about their sexuality and sensuality that they have a fear of homosexuals as a threat to their orientation. Our fear and prejudice against anyone who is ‘alien’ to our personal orientation warps and distorts our relations and relationships.
Fascist mass psychology keeps us divided by illusions that line us up against each other based upon political wings and ‘isms’. We mindlessly fall for mass #Fascist #PsychOps or psychological operations that pit us against each other based upon false divisions..
We are kept constantly distracted and divided by corporate orchestrated News themes and False Flags on a constant basis. Many of us have become disconnected and detached from our own #psyche or #spirit.in connected reality ~ mocking faith.
We fail to operate in the world consistent with our basic core principles and compromise and cheat for political expediency. Many of us are adrift without moorings or any true consistent moral compass or conscience ~ without humane ethics.
Many so-called activists dismiss involvement in Electoral Politics as a tactic yet fail to offer solutions to our problems. We can refer to the people as sheep, yet many civilians are more like mindless zombies. A rod is used to guide sheep, not beat them.
It is our responsibility as conscientious humane beings with a #conscience to help awaken and enlighten, not make fun of people. We begin life as humane beings with a natural connection with and loving identity towards other beings such as we are. Being born into and raised in a dog-eat-dog rat race sick society we lose our natural humane connectivity with each other. We cherish our unique individuality yet fail to fathom our natural communion with each other as one humane family.
Being a Humane Being: via @Peta_de_Aztlan:
Earthlings are truly an endangered species of life.
Just glance at the endless wars, regional conflicts and strife.
We dance mindlessly off balance on the bevel of a knife.
We as a people allow fascist elites to rule over us without fuss.
A mere sentient human being can be a cruel carnivorous animal.
Out of fear unable to evolve beyond being a mammal beast.
Thousands die of hunger every day as the fascist elites feast.
Being a humane being requires a sacred love of our humanity.
Let us have care, concern and compassion as humane beings.
Evolve beyond a narrow identity of a race, nation or ethnicity.
Expand your circle of compassion for all sentient beings.
Whether they happen to have arms, legs or wings.
Inhumane humans are the greatest danger we face on Earth.
Innocent life is sacred with value and noble inherent worth.
Ultimately all of humanity is one grand global family.
Let us pray we know what we mean when we say Namaste!
Venceremos Unidos! We Will Win United!
